Crocus Hope

Dear God,
It is amazing how fast life can turn
from sublime joy to gut-wrenching fear to sheer tragedy.
It’s ridiculous ride.
And so I stop now,
just for one minute.
………………….tick……..tock………….tick…………………..tock……………tick….tock……………………..
Sigh.
Settle me, God,
Infuse Yourself into the beat of this heart,
and into the blood coursing through my body,
Strengthen my frame–all the muscles and tissue and limbs,
Remind me to be all of me~
Breath, body, mind.
For Love’s sake,
Amen.
